    Zoo Outing

We had a so called first "fun-filled" outing to the singapore zoological garden on last Sat. We were supposed to join our dear Alumni for this outing over the long weekend...However, the children were all down on the actual day and we had no choice but to "pang she" the Chia family for this most looked forward outing together.

Despite of that, Derrick and I decided to go on the following day since Abby was feeling better. I think I am more excited about the trip than my princess herself. I was filled with much anticipations and excitement about the fun Abby will have. But deep in my heart, a very realistic voice told me I might be disappointed.

True enough!! Abby ain't that excited about any orang utans, hippo or the polar bear. In fact, we spent a lot of time trying to tame her down as she just master the art of walking and all she cares about is walking around the whole zoo without restraint. Both of us were so shack after an hour of carrying her. Lol

Since Abby is too young to understand what's going on in the zoo, we decided to skip many interesting animals and proceed straight to the water play. We knew her too well. We will not go wrong with playing of water.

Abby went crazy at the sight of the water play. She dashed toward the water play like a lady who met her prince charming. I was so unprepared as it was our first time (after 10 overs years) to the zoo. I was completely drenched!! However, seeing the joy and laughter from my princess, I think it was all worth-while.

A picture paints a thousand words. Some of my colleagues told me that Abby looked so happy and thrilled throughout the zoo trip. Sad to say, they were only half correct. Those smiley and candid shots were taken by a very professional and skilful photographer (I am force to say that to please him)

To be honest, I realised that zoo now have become so much more interesting compared to the zoo that used to be boring and full of mozzies. Will definitely visit again when Abby is more " dong chi"
