ALERT: Never Bet With Karen Yeo Chai Phuang
I went on a bet with Karen Yeo...
Who is Karen ?? She is someone who I deem extreme "C"... "C" means detail, meticulous, someone who can remember little thing. Best job for her is to be underwriter.
Anyway, I went on a bet with her over our dinner time. What did we bet on?? Silly stuff... Where was Gina Sim (one of our consultants) wedding held at? Oh... I was very confirmed that it was held at Teochew restaurant (maybe.. some of you also can't recalled or confuse like me) while she was very certain that it was held at Daimaru Liang Court (Tung Lok restaurant). I even bang on the table and insisted that I'm right...confirm confirm confirm right.
So what if either of us lose?? She had to help me do my wedding corsage while I have to help her do up her blog. I am laughing my head off and told her to get ready to help me. Then, we tried to confirm with quite a no of our friends (winnie,audrey,linying, rachael, christine, shally, joanna, EC and even gina herself) to find out the answer....hehe....So you know the answer !!! She was right lor :(
She then make a remark "lol, I told Daniel (her husband) before... IF Karen yeo is very very certain, NEVER... NEVER... NEVER... bet with her....wahahahah"
Hmmm...Well, so you won yourself a new blog and I have to get it done by this month!
Never bet with her went she is very certain ok! :)

What a Day!
Had a full day of i dunno what I am doing... hahaha.. no laaaa..... I did some useful stuff
Went for driving lesson.... My TP's coming this April... Instructor says I might not be able clock in enough lesson for my TP...Arghhhh NOOOOOOOOOOO..... I am going to go for extra lesson every week
After driving, I went for facial!!!
Had a fabulous dinner with my mum and dad.. Talking about home cook food... Mum's food out- beat mine a million times definitely... 3 of us ate 6 dishes!!! yum yum!!
Now, doing some research for my wedding.. And Yes! Jamie... it's coming soon. 4 more months and many things are still not done.. Shenghong showed me a very talented and interesting Indonesian photographer's website... Woah.... it's really superb nice!!! How I wish I can engage his team!! haha... but too bad.... it cost RP 49,000,000 ... hehe.. wondering how much is that right?? It's S$6300 excluding travel fee. hmmmm... saw one of the photos they took and I like their idea... I tried to imitate it!!

Pancake Attempt "carrot cake look alike"
Sad!!! My attempt to make some pancakes for Derrick failed! :(
We went Holland Village yesterday and bought a box of Pancake flour and a bottle of MacDonald Maple Syrup... Oh man! the maple syrup is expensive lor... just a bottle like this cost $16++ ... Anyway, I purposefully choose those easy and ready mix flour so that I can save the hassle of mixing the flour with egg and water and mess up the whole kitchen...
Unfortunately, I still messed it up even with the minimum effort put in... I just can't seem to fry those stubborn pancake. Those pancake just stick on the pan and refuse to be turn over!!! My dad came to help, but I think he makes it worse!!! He kept telling me to add more oil and by add more oil did not makes it better.... And my dad got a little impatient and he start to stir fry it... OMG... it ended up like carrot cake lor~~~ goodness!!!
It left me wonder if the problem lies with the oil or the flour or the amount of water or the pan itself?? And no matter how I try, it just look so different from the display photo. Disappointed!! :(
Anyhow, I managed to do 2 edible "carrot cake look alike" pancake with some slice of banana and maple syrup and it tasted not so bad.

Approach
I like this new skin... It looks much better than the colorful poker dotted skin with narrow alignment...
I am just in a dilemma if my change of approach will really work?? I have been doing something new this week and result are just alright.... I really don't mind making those changes as long as I can bring in the sales.. I don't mind if it's seen as not so "pro" as long as I can see breakthrough everyday... I wanna shine for him in the darkest economic crisis and I know He will make me shine as long as I am not going to give up so easily. Glad that I have many companion making the same switch and we met so many funny cases .. Everybody is working so hard.. Heard that somebody is even running for sales and appointment at 12am -2am.... Awesome!! Maybe next time I can join you too. Anyhow, I need a breakthrough God!!! Love you Jesus!!

Valentines Day
I spent a great day with him. We have celebrated many years of valentines' day and this will be my last valentines day with the Single status.... there after I will be called "MRS".... or "MDM"... OMG!!
I should says that it's a simple celebration but it doesn't matter to us at all cos it's the companionship that matters.... As SPF have stolen him away for 1 whole week, we hardly could plan anything substantial, also with the wedding coming along, I think it's only wise not to splurge too much on this day. Hence, this valentines day is down right SIMPLE...
I cooked a simple meal for him!! Can you say WOWWWWWWW!!!
Alright, it's not so simple actually !!! It's teochew style of cooking and I learnt it from my mummy who is a teochew food expert... It was quite funny because my mum thought that my future mother in law wanted to test my cooking skill when I told her that I am gonna cook a meal for Derrick.... So she got so anxious telling me exactly how to cook the meal, how long should I steam the fish, what's the ingredient for herbal... she not only provided me with all the ingredients for what I plan to cook. She even call me while I'm halfway cooking to find out if everything's fine! Got so serious meh? Isn't she funny??? So I'm determine not to "Xia Sway" her name... I tell myself that I am "Wang tai can cook"!!! lol...

Oh man... I'm proud of myself men!!! Applause*** Derrick was surprise that I can do drunken prawn... He thought that only restaurant can cook this... lol..It tasted not bad actually... but still far from my mum's standard.... I'm gonna do a greater job next time.

After lunch, we went for a date in town.... had dinner at Dan Ryans, an American restaurant. Ate their roast chicken , pork rib and soft shell crab which were serve in American portion. Though it's delicious, it's too much for me who is very serious about dieting this season.... I haven been eating rice for 1 week already... I'm not gonna let my effort gone to waste!! Can bring me to fine dining next time??you know right... those which the smaller the serving, the more high class it is??
We ended our day watching "The curious case of Benjamin Button".... I enjoy this movie very much esp when the lead actor Brad Pitt is super handsome lor... I love the script and plot.... I'm so move by the love Benjamin had for Daisy. Especially the part when both their age met at the cross junction. Some funny scenes was when frail Benjamin went for a healing crusade and the evangelist who tries to cast out demon kenna a stroke himself and an elderly describe how he was struck by lightning 7 times.. I give 4 stars for this movie!!
Well... looking back, our love life has been so interesting . We are high school sweet heart and I'm his first love!!! We both believe in "Love at first sight" cos this is how it all happen during our Sec 1 camp. Till now, I am surprise that we can still talk through late night calls like those young teenager and our argument never lasted for 24 hours. I am happy to be spending my whole life with his
funny guy loving man. I felt very much honor and bless to grow up with him. Thanks for always giving in to me and showing your love in every way you can..

Derrick is away for Reservist
Ahemmm.... He is away for Reservist for 3 weeks!! I'm gonna miss the car ... i mean him... I would miss his nonsensical jokes, i mean humorous jokes.... Actually I seldom get entertained by him despite many says you really have a very humorous boyfriend that cheer you up everytime. You wonder why right?? lol... because, sometimes I can be even more nonsensical, i mean funnier in front of him.
Why reservist so long one?? Can't it be just 3 days or 3 hours?? Why must it be 3 weeks??? Nobody driving me to Morning Prayer Meeting and I have to take bus. SPF!!! I need my boyfriend back asap.... please return it to me once you finish using, i mean training.... Derrick will kill me if he reads this.... treat him more like an Ahmad!! lol....Hey!!! but I dun mind marrying and loving this "Ahmad" for life!!! hahaha
Putting jokes aside, I seriously miss him and hope to hear his call Now..... Please train up your muscle this 3 weeks... I'm treating this as a slimming program for you... "Baris... sedia"

My Hard Disk is being Accidentally formatted !! :)
Arghhhhhh....Our hard disk was accidentally formatted.. Derrick who having good intention to format my Dell comp accidentally formatted our hard disk as well. All our years and years of photo and video were all formatted. I thought I will be really angry... BUT I DIDN'T.... I felt much heartache. Someone says that Love covers a multitude of sins... haha... I ended up consoling him and telling him not to feel too bad about this mistake and he still ended up having insomia the whole night.
Anyway, good news is that he had brought the hard disk to this company for recovery of data. The person in charge sounded really confidence to retrieve the data loss. But must spend a few hundred of dollar now... Haiz.... God !! SAVE MY HARDDISK

God and Ancient China
Today service was simply awesome!!! Pastor Kong continue to preach on God and Ancient China Part 2. I've gotta say that God has been involve in our Chinese Culture even way back 2500 BC.... that's way beyond any other religion even exist.... Being a Chinese who quite interested in Chinese History, I am simply blown away by today's message. I bet Pastor Kong must done so much research to preach this message this 2 weeks. Let me give you a short History Lesson Now....
Way back 2500BC, even before any other Religion's being establish, China worship a common God whom they common know and called as, 上帝!! And later in the "Zhou Dynasty", it was change to 上天... And in many of Ancient Chinese poems "文言文" and song written by scholar and emperor shows how this 上帝 or 上天 was accurately describing the same Yahwah God we worship in the bible.
Earliest history being recorded was the "Shang Dynasty" which is around the same period as bible time in Exodus.... Some significance events recorded in the early bible are events like the creation, Noah's Ark and the tower of Babel. If all these event in the bible were significant enough and were true happening, then people in China during then would remember clearly and recorded into their history as well... This is where Chinese character are form!! Ancient Chinese character were unique as it was not form by any lettering but by picture which is a form of recording history. So some of the bible events were recorded in the Chinese Character. A few exmple here.
Example 1
(Boat) 船 = 舟＋八＋口
A record of Noah's Ark. 船 (boat) was a formation of a boat with a family of eight (八口人). Bible recorded that Noah and his family were a total of eight people who only got into the boat. Wow
Example 2:
（forbidden) 禁 ＝木＋木＋示
A record of Adam and Eve fall in Genesis. 禁 (forbidden) was a formation of 2 trees symbolises the tree of Life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and 示 is revelation symbolises Adam and eve falls after eating the tree of the knowledge of good and evil
Example 3:
(Righteousness) 义
A record of Jesus death. 义in simplified Chinese is a formation of the cross and the dot symbolize blood shed. It's a picture of how Jesus shed his blood on the cross to bring righteousness to all mankind.
Isn't that amazing... how God has been revealing himself subtlety to whole of the Chinese humanity and how often I hear from people that Jesus is an "ang mo" God for the westerners only. Hello!!! God revealed to the Chinese even way back 2500 BC.
Of course, Pastor also share with us that one of the China greatest Emperor, Kang Xi's (康熙) was also a Christian and a believer. That's unbelievable but was indeed proven from many of his writing and song. The name of God was often being exalted in his writing. It was introduce to me the very first time that Christianity was very widely spread during then. Even the Emperor Kang Xi gave an instruction to missionaries to preach and convert.
The question then arises therefore, if the ancient Chinese worshiped God, why did they depart from that practice and admit a pantheon of Buddhist and Taoist deities in the course of their long history?? Crisis hit China because of religious believer in the Roman Catholic.... It's was also know widely in History as the “Rites Controversy”.... Religious people started to persecute China for paying respect to their ancestors, despising their culture and denying their faith, the pope deny all the efforts of the Jesuits who had an intellectually brilliant and profound impact on China in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.

Sad, but I realised that Christian should never be overly religious over matters that does not affect our spirituality.... Recently, I have met Christian(stranger actually) who criticise openly on my dressing and say that my dressing will lead to lustful temptation to all the brother out there.. haha.. this is classic men!! I think God is allowing me to meet people like this to assure me that there are really people like that out there who think that wearing conservatively is a form of Holiness.... Anyway, I am really encourage by the message and I pray that my parent will soon get save because He is the God for everybody!!!
