OMG. D day has come

The day has come. Water bag burst in the middle of night at 1240am.

Got a quick bath, make up ... (yeah.. I wanna make up) and Hubby drove me down to hospital.

Dilate -1.5cm ... Won't be in labour till day break. Contraction come on and off but still quite bearable. Hehe. Else I won't be blogging at this hour..

We just went to gynae this evening and wonder why There are still no signs... Thank god he is always on time.

Pregnancy Journey - 39 weeks (About 4 days to go)

Baby Abby still not coming out. Though EDD falls on 26th May, but I am hoping that she can come much faster just like many of my friends who gave birth 2-3 weeks before their EDD. Dr Lim suggested induction if she is not coming out by 28th May. Somehow, my "six sense" tells me that this will likely happen.

Abby Abby.... Don't you want to see the world ?? Don't you want to associate the voice you've been hearing with the looks together? If I were you, I will be very curious. Are you feeling too comfortable in the womb?? Let me tell you that your pinky room is waiting for you!!

Actually I am really not far from D day. I am just lacking patient in everything I do. I have been experiencing Braxton Hicks also known as false contraction. I can imagine the real contraction will be maybe 50 times more painful. Different individual have brief me what will happen when I am in labor. hehehe... it's making me extremely excited as I visualize different scenarios.

Yeah!! I am gonna be transiting into motherhood. I am gonna tell myself to take it easy. No post natal blues.Only post natal Joy!!! Dear Lord, please take control over my hormones.

Pregnancy Journey - 37 weeks (Getting Ready)

I have started my leave. Shiok!!

Getting already for Abby's arrival.

Despite of all the anticipation, my heart still feeling quite unsettled. Baby room is still in a mess. The drawer from Ikea is not fixed properly. My baby cot mattress not bought, stroller not bought, I have yet to get my car seat etc, etc. Is there anything I still miss out??

So baby... please don't come too quickly till mummy get all these done.

I am in a Dilemma!! Mothers' day seem like a good day for Abby to arrive. What a perfect gift my first mothers' day gift. Dear Lord, hear my prayers ok?!

2 weeks ago, Dr Lim told us that she is already weighing approximately 3.2kg. Wow!!! She is quite big given there are still 3-4 weeks to go. Hopefully I don't need to go through any C-sect. Abby must be eating quite well huh!!

Abby!! Hope to see you soon..... not too soon though!!!
