    RIP

My client's bro called!!! Very shock!!! He just passed away due to Lung Cancer. Shock by that phone call because he just recently call me few weeks ago and he sounded ok to me. This would be my first claim case though the claim amount isn't much.

I met him in a roadshow in 2005 at takashimaya. Know that he has very limited budget and does not have a very stable job but he still sign up an investment plan with me. I am meeting his brother to settle the claim tml.

What have I learnt? Insurance is really IMPORTANT and ESSENTIAL. It reliefs your family and love ones financial burden. Life is unpredictable and you are just being responsible by planning it well. Some guru says "You don't replenish toilet paper only when you have stomachache. "

PS: Rest in Peace Mr Ong. Thanks for your support in Prudential!!

    HAPPENING WEEK

Last week has been a happening week for me. I went to JB together with some of my CG member. Was our first "overseas" trip..... Haha... My member were all quite excited for this trip... esp those guys... they change so much RM as if they are going for a 3 day 2 night trip. haha

Stuck at the custom!!! We were so "Peak Cheak"(frustrated).... the queue was not moving at all. I wondered why they are so slow and inefficient. Anyway, we finally reached City Square after an hour or so. We lunched at Kenny Roger and it's a disappointment. Shall not elaborate so much.

We are really Peak Cheak .... Queue so long

The guys crazily shopped at city square and they bought so much clothes. The ladies are relatively more reserve. We didn't buy that much compared to the guys. One of the highlight for me is the Thai Massage together with Derrick. It's around $75 RM for 1 hour of massage. Consider quite cheap. Wow.. the massage is really so relaxing.

    @ Kenny Roger

Hahas... Sheng Hong bought a Skin lookalike shirt.
Sam is saying that Mary look more like "Guan Yin Ma"... haha

Highlight of the day is a 45 mins taxi ride to a Seafood Restaurant, Restoran Todak. We order so much food and it is still cheap cheap cheap. The Sambal Kang Kong is superb nice. We had a very sumptuous meal and a great time of fellowship. Picture tells a thousand words... Here are some photo we took at the seafood restaurant.

Anyway.... today my sister called me and told me that she wrote an email to SUN to share with her her struggles. To her surprise, SUN actually replied her and encourages her. This really touch her so much. I always hear from the pulpit that SUN's music has impacted many lives and she has been constantly doing counseling. However, it didn't come across my mind that my sis will send her email and SUN really replied her in her midst of her busy singing career. It indirectly impacted me as well. I am almost moved to tear! Some people only talk the talk but she walk the walk. This is an email my sis wrote to me.

"I realised that God has a reason for everything that happens in life. I'd got 20/40 for my physics paper, and I was indirectly being mock at by my friend who had got 26.5/40. Just as I was feeling so sad when I got home, I received that email from Sun. It was as though God was writing to me!!! God also said to me that if I had gotten an A, I would not be able to comfort those who failed in the exam, and the outcome might be different for I might have became proud in the process. I was so touched but the miracle that happened today! Thanks for your encouragement, and lots of love.
    Love, Celine"

    Bridal Exhibition Again

We went for another bridal exhibition again.... this time at Singapore and is at Vivo city.... I am really abit confuse as what I really want. This time round..... I really like the grown!!! Just share with you... we sat down with only 2 bridal booth. Bridal De Couture and French Bridal. Comparing both of them, I find Bridal De Couture more sincere and the man trying to close me is really a good promoter la... Furthermore, I know that Serena and Kenneth took their wedding picture there too. However, I am just uncertain if they can provide grown that i am searching for?? Was told that I can have a made to measure grown, but still a little apprehensive.

On the other hand, I like French Bridal alot... they showed me the wedding grown photo... I simply love it! So elegance and bring out a classy feel. This bridal shop has been around for more than 20 years and "use to" be an award winning company. They told us that Mediacorp and Hui ge (Henry Tan)'s daughter is their client too. The lady promoting it doesn't hard sell us but she kept shooting down other bridal booth. Unknowingly, she did managed to create some fears in us when we walked pass other booth. We are so careful not to be lured by their cheap package with many hidden cost... haha...Everyone is so competitive. Once we walked off from one booth, many others will overwhelm us with their brochures. okok.. Back to track, I am really tempted to sign the package with French Bridal, not because the lady is persuasive but the grown is gorgeous. I've check out Z-Wedding website. They have very nice grown too. High collar Halter neck grown. Nice!!

Anyway... I must pray la!!! Commit your ways to the Lord and He shall direct your path.

    Mid Year Review

Time flies and we are now at our NGO Mid Year Review. Was held at National Service Resort & Country Club (NSRCC) on Mon. Every year, we will review our sale progress and a time where boss will share about what's gonna be ahead of us. Quite privileges to have the CEO , Philip Seah to grace the event at early 9am. He is very pastoral and a devoted believer. As usual... have to sing the Prudential song.... "We are Number One" hahaha.... It's just a song... but probably we are all christian and I saw Roland lifting up his hand like worshiping while singing the song ... Rio and I laugh till we drop men!! After CEO left, we had our devotion time. Praise and Worship led by Evelyn and Pastor Derek came to share with us about having clarity.

    CEO Philip Seah

We have quite a number of speakers for this Mid year review... CEO Philip Seah, Pastor Derek Dunn ,Charlie Lei (Investment expert) and Charmaine Lun from Jardin Smith. It's very inspiring but just a bit tired after long hour of meeting. O Shuxian, our pregnant mama was the top consultant for this mid year review and she shared her testimony about her success in this industry. Most inspiring and encouraging... Secret of success?? She is pregnant and she woke up early everyday around 7am , she make a point to seek God in the morning, she is discipline in coming to office regularly. She gave God all the glory for her success and I understand completely cos she isn't a very eloquent lady. Hmmmm... I will worked towards it men!!!

    Pastor Derek

    O Shuxian (Top Consultant)

Charlie Lei (Updating us about the investment market)

    Charmaine Lun

    Break time

Haha... we also have video announcement like our church... it is SO FUNNY.... Samuel Ang and Shally was the video announcer and we laugh and laugh and laugh... Because everyone laugh so loud, only thing that I heard clearly from the annoucement is the Suzuki Swift draw this coming Sept during our D&D at Fullerton Hotel. Derrick and I were so so so excited for this draw... I think we probably are the few people that remain so excited.

I guess the event that keep all of us most awake is the Kick Boxing.... We actually engage somebody outside to teach us kick boxing.... Wow.... it is fun .. I didn't expect it to be quite tiring.. only kick and punch and we sweat. Everyone were very high in the spirit and some were so serious in learning. Haha... as usual... after a while, we found samuel ang and caleb toh "fighting" again. After the kick boxing, we ended the meeting celebrating July Babies birthday and sang our NGO theme song.. "if we hold on together". I sang this song for 3 years already!!

    "If we hold on together"

    July Babies
Overall, I enjoyed the meeting and inspired to go for my target. I wanna believe God that this is gonna be a breakthrough year for me!! Isa 41 says that God is gonna make the wilderness a pool of water. While there is many changes in the industry and economic uncertainty, it is even more important for Christian to shine. Bible says that Issac sowed in the land of famine and he reap and become prosper and very prosper. I will continue to sow and believe for a great harvest!!!

PS: I do miss going oversea for Final Sprint!!!

    THE SUPREME 20 (至尊20)

I went JB on last Sat with Derrick , Daniel chia and Karen Yeo. Going there for a Bridal Exhibition (The Supreme 20 至尊20). Haha... we are there to just source out some good bridal deal. Anyway... wasn't a easy trip there as it was pouring quite heavily that day and we were quite drenched walking over to the convention hall.

As usual, Karen Yeo being Karen Yeo is always so "C"(detailed) about their package and ask a lot of question. As for us, our main concern is on the grown and photography skilled. Overall, their package are really good. Only problem was none of the grown really caught our eye. I think overall we quite like one of the bridal booth, Eve's Philosophy. Found a grown that I like ..... Derrick like wedding photo with "waterfall", "railway train", "Stone"... haha.... They offered us 1 made to measure grown, 9 different grown for the photoshots, venue @ Desaru and many many more freebies , most of all.... half the price of Singapore rate. Despite of all the persuasive talks, we decided not to commit to it first as I just wanna be sure and not regret it later. We probably will visit the bridal shop and look at their grown again. Anyway... Karen and Daniel had already sign up the package with G-Creation. Haha.. Congrat..As for me, nothing is confirm till the propose is made.....

    BE A GOOD FINISHER

Remember what Pastor Kong shared during one of the recent service. He said that we always think that we are the one helping God to grow the church, we are the one who help God to build the ministry... but God is the real person behind us supporting it, adding strength to all that we are doing. I found a video that demonstrated what Pastor Kong shared... I showed the video to my cg last Friday when I preached on being a good finisher and we need to depend on God to help us. Many were touched by it... do enjoyed

Some updates.... I am very happy that nesting at my cold call client place has been very fruitful.... Derrick and I have closed a couple of cases from this company. I feel very welcome at that company.... those staffs are very warmth and easy-going people. Thanks Fiona (my telemarketer) for fixing so many cold call appointment for me.... She is really good men!! One day can fix around 4 appointments for me. Most importantly, I have been closing a few cases from there. But thank GOD for being there with me and giving me the open door.

We went to Karen Yeo and Daniel Chia place for a time of gathering on Sun.... We had a good time watching Serena and Kenneth wedding video.... They look fantastic in the video. After watching the video... i am really inspire to get married too. Anyway..... my good friend knows that I want a "feather feather" wedding deco... Counting on you.. Karen YEO. After the video... we play a Bean Card Game... (can't remember the name)... Coincidentally... I wonder is this game a game specially for Cell Group Leader??.. It is a game of sowing and reaping!!! Haha.... Looking forward for the next gathering.

    HAPPY 24th BIRTHDAY DERRICK
Happy birthday dear!!! We had a wonderful full day together. I think he is very bless!! His member bought him a LV wallet worth $500 and a $100 capital Land vouchers..... as for me, I bought him a Canon Powershot Camera (S5 IS). It a semi-pro camera as I know he loves gadgets and he loves to take picture. I believe he is very happy to receive my gift. It meant to be a surprise but he exposed me 1 week before that actual day.... Yup... it is so hard to hide things from him. anyway... I believe that he is bless!!

We watched Get Smart on that day... very nice comedy... it wasn't like those typical stupid dumb Mr bean movie but I enjoyed the jokes and also the storyline. Hmmmm... we bump into Jack Neo at Cineleisure and he was chatting with the donut uncle... I am going to watch Money Not Enough 2. I think it gonna be nice too. haha.

Something that i wanna brag about is the dinner we went to on that day. It was not our first visit there but i must say that the food is very delicious men! It's located at East Coast Park

A small and cosy place at ECP....

Goose liver.... So small and must be present on a long classy plate. My first time tasting goose liver.... It taste.... it taste... it taste... you know!!!!! (Mac advertisement line) It taste yummy
