REASON FOR ME TO PASS MY DRIVING TEST

Started my first driving lesson.... Was really so interesting to drive on the road. Engine stalls ONCE (does this consider good for a first timer).... I felt that I drove well!! (base on my instructor who have taught people like...... Sun / Pastor Tan / Pastor Kong).

I am even more excited when I started learning cos I know that soon I will be driving my Suzuki Swift to appointment, to church, to shop, to watch movie, to eat supper, to run arrand for my wedding, to go Dempsey Hill for Ben and Jerry, to go Marina Keppel for a drink, to drive my members home after CG, to send my parent home, to drive my dad somewhere for a good meal.

I would put my heavy lap top bag in the car and stop all my backache due to that dumb heavy DELL. I will not have to squeeze in the MRT with others, aiming for a seat EVERYTIME cos I am wearing high heels. I would be more willing to stay back office till late night to make more dials cos I dun have to feel reluctance about travelling 45 mins home (would my manager feels happy to hear that???). Wow.. with all these reason..... I am convince that I am gonna pass the first time. I CONFESS IT NOW!!

Anyway, I am still thanking God for the miracle car and believing for one more miracle.... Stress as I can be... I want to hit my OSAKA!!!

    Compassion

I am moved by the people serving in the dialect church. It's was pouring like mad after the Sunday Jurong West service. I was stuck at the lobby waiting for the rain to stop. But I witnessed something worth all my waiting and that is what it means to serve with love and compassion. This is what I saw....

Wow.. this usher has to coordinate the buses and brave the heavy rain to fetch the elderly in.

I am moved to see how elderly in wheelchair coming to praise and worship God despite of immobility and in such harsh weather. Would you serve God even though it's inconvenient to do so ?

These people are dedicated. I saluted you!!!

This is my favorite picture. The rain is so heavy and those elderly would still make a point to attend service. Sometimes, it's so contradicting to hear young and healthy Christian giving you all sorts of excuses like overslept, stomachache, dog fell sick, service too far and the list just goes on and on. haha.... it's not talking about you!!!

Something for us to reflect!! Food for thought. Aren't we so much more healthier, energetic to do greater exploit for our Lord Jesus Christ?!

    My wedding date is ...........

    18th July 2009

Yeah... It's confirm confirm comfirmed!!! Not the most auspicious date but definitely we determine the day and not the day determine us!! AMEN!! I am so happy that we have finalise our wedding banquet.... It at PEARL RIVER PALACE!!!

We went earlier to the place to have a talk with the resturant manager- Rita

In the midst of discussion with Rita

This is my youngest niece- Charisse....

Talking about meet the parent session, I should say that it's not that bad!! I am quite nervous initially as I'm worried if they can engage well in conversation. But I think it not bad after all. My worries is unnecessary. haha... only difference is that my family are trained to eat very fast.. esp my commandos bro. He finishes his every meal within 15 mins. Whereas derrick's family are typical cantonese family who take their time to "keng gai" (chatting). As you can see in the photo... Derrick mum look much more fashionable and my parents are rather a down-to-earth loving couple. Overall, both of them like the venue and food... hehe

you pay $40 to fortune teller to get ONE auspicious date... Don't ask for too many!!

Derrick and I have been going around to source for venues for matrimony... so tiring!! Some of the venues are so beautiful. But budget is taken into consideration. We went to 3 places... here's some photo of it...

Venue #1 - Singapore Art Museum (Auditorium)

    Venue #2: Saint Andrew Cathedral
"Oh God... forgive my iniquities and my transgression."

Actually we never really consider this place la. We just wanted to take a look at their church. Their new sanctuary located at the basement are really nice. Comparing to the old one which is under renovation carries rather a heavy atmosphere. Nevertheless, the structure of the building is very captivating, sad to say...it just too solemn.... too holy...too majestic for us....

    Venue #3: Asian Civilization Museum
haha... nice place... but too expensive. Out of the picture!

haha.. it's very fun to record down the whole progress of the planning. We are grateful to God for all that done for us. Sometime feels tired but really enjoyed every moment of the planning!!

    FRIDAY- CG FELLOWSHIP

My CG went for our monthly fellowship at Pizza Hut. It was also a time to celebrate 2 of my members' birthday- Lowell and Weijie. Happy Birthday to you guys

    Weijie aka Long 哥....
A weird Birthday song background from Pizza hut... I think it's better we sing by ourselves

This is our Nadia's friend, Xinfang.... It's her birthday too. So we celebrated it together. Hope that she is blessed as well

After our meal, 10 of us went to K box together.

It's so breakthrough for Weijie. You hardly hear such a reserve guy sang so well especially Jay chou and JJ lin songs. I am impressed!

Another silent worker- huibin... free for the night

I dun want to close my eyes... I dun want to fall asleep cos I missing baby... and i dun want to miss a thing----- Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    Sat - Steven's Wedding

Sat was Steven and Cherie's wedding. Congrats to both of you. Holy Matrimony....

We finished the wedding around 1pm. Nothing to do, so we decided to head down D Artistry to dye our hair. Though it's far... but it all worth the trip down.

This lady is Helen... our hair stylist. Can trust her with your hair... She is the lady boss and she is pro!!!
Doesn't he looks like alien or ET with the UFO flying over his head
    My Red hair... nice ?!!

    testing the camera....

Wedding Banquet at Teochew Resturant.... Food was sumptious esp the shui kim bao.

    Thank you speech

Don't get drunk... else you do silly things infront of everybody

This is what Samuel(MC) says - "Due to the financial crisis, we are your budgeted MC for the day" lol
