    Abby Second Vaccination Experience

I was quite afraid to carry her as I worried she might struggle too much and I can't hold tight. But guess what?!! She is braver than I imagine. Cried a while and she's back to normal again!! Well done my girl...
Thanks to technology... When she grows up, I will play this video for her to watch...

Managed to capture a glimpse of her smiley face =)

Alright... sorry for the loud music and my irritating voice. After all my attempts to make her smile... she finally smile after 1 min.

Daddy First Attempt to bath Abby.

    Abby went to BabySpa

    How fortunately are children nowadays....
I don't remember having such private pool when I was just a baby. Anyway... she really enjoyed so much. And her ah gong seems to enjoy very much as well, just watching her grand daughter kicking and moving her legs in the chlorine-free pool. And as expected of my dad, he kept asking me to sign the package in front of the sale lady.
No objection handling... So easy to close us on the spot.... Left me with no bargaining power!!! =( My friend just act not interested to sign and the sale lady immediately threw in 5 free baby massage session which I have to pay $10 per session thereafter
Anyway... I did enjoy as well.

A post dedicate to my Confinement Lady - Song Er

I kinda understand why people need a maid at home. I used to think that household chores are very manageable (if you have a "helpful" hubby) and why do we need to hire a foreign stranger to stay with you and intrude your privacy? Not true!! when you have a baby....
Since my confinement lady left, I am really deprive of sleep and rest. Life is so different from what I imagine when I was pregnant. My whole world has been revolving around Abby... Feeding her, bathing her,  coxing her, pumping milk, changing diaper etc. Don't get it wrong. I am enjoying my motherhood.... minus all these. lol...

During my confinement, I thank God for a good and competent confinement lady. Her gentleness handling of baby makes me feel very safe to let her take care of Abby. Not only so, she is one who 不计较 and does ALL the household chores that is not within her job scope. She washes both my bathrooms, clean all the clothes, mop and sweep the whole house every single day. She even washes my fan. She actually reminds me of those TVB serial drama where those rich tycoon hire a house keeper (云姐). I have only 1 problem with her. She is probably too gentle and speak too softly. I often can't hear her clearly.
Best of all, I misses her cooking. She make effort in preparing every meal causing much of pimples outbreak during my confinement. Anyway, I have stolen some recipes from her and hopefully I can try it out someday. I miss her black pepper salmon, dang dui soup and  猪脚醋。

    OMG Pork Porridge

I drank Dang Dui Dom soup every night

I guess what makes a person stands out from the rest is passion and love in a job. Regardless what type of job you do, if we do it out of passion, you will always produce an excellence job.
So, will I consider hiring a maid??
    hmmmm....
    Maybe not now!!

    My Church, My Life

After 2 years of  investigations by CAD for alleges of misusing of church funds. Last week our senior pastor, deputy senior pastor and 3 other church members were charge on court for the following.

It was definitely a tough week for all of them. Our church has been on the news headlines for several days. What's new? Most of the reports were sensationalize by the media. The news reported that the church building fund had been misused to promote Sun's singing career in Hollywood. It sounded as if that all was done for her personal fame and glory. Also, the news made it sound like the police raided their home and arrested them. But the truth was they were being called up by the authorities and NOT arrested by them. Since then, my Facebook has been flooded with supporter and CHC haters comments.

I doubt the member of public will ever understand how this Crossover Project (sending Sun into the entertainment industry) have imparted ten and thousand of lives across Asia. Derrick and I had the privileged to help up in one of Sun's concerts in Taiwan. We have both witnessed ten and thousands of souls getting save through her concert in Tai chung. Fame and glory?? I thought we were the one who send her into the entertainment world?

With pride and unwavering faith, I chose to stand and believe in our church leadership for without them, I will never be who I am today. I came to church in 1998. I recalled how I was struggling with my studies and living a life without any purpose. I am insecure and almost went astray. Having no interest in my studies, I flunked my O level terribly. When I felt most condemned and devastated, it was my church friends and leaders that encouraged me to move on. Instead of condemning me, they believed in me. I plucked up my courage to repeat my Olevel again. To cut it short, that year, I came in top in the whole cohort. Never will I imagine myself to have such achievement in life. It was the church that helps me rebuild my self-esteem and confidence in life. It was the church and pastor kong's teaching that mould me to be a better person. I am now happily married with a new born baby and doing well in my career.

Last year, I had a miscarriage. During one of our most depressed moment, again, it was my pastor and church friends who stood by us. Now when the church is in trouble, will you not do the same back to them?

Two years since I step down as Cell group leader which I serve faithfully for the last 8 years, I received a personal letter from Sun one day encouraging me. It really warms my heart to know that I am not forgotten.

I know many will think we were brainwashed, fanatics, blind followers and etc. In fact, I felt very offended that one of ST reporter even name us as "cult-like" religion. Say whatever you want to say. I just wondered how many lives have all these "righteous" reporters or CHC haters changed?

Everybody made mistakes. The approaching methods might not be compliance, but I strongly believe that their intent was right. If they are cheats, I wonder why the rest who were involve benefit nothing but only troubless out of it.

It breaks my heart to see my leaders go through so much, however I felt glad that this time our church have become more united as compared to 2 years ago when members become skeptical and questioned the leadership. Guess what, church service was overflowed with faithful members on Sat and Sunday. Abby came to support as well. =)

No matter whats the outcome, I am always thankful and proud to be a City Harvester.

Lastly, here's just for laugh. We also Buay Song
