    一 鸡 只 长

    What if one day your son comes to you and tells you he learns how to write a new 成语 (proverbs) and he say " I have learn 一 鸡 只 长" .......

    And you say to him... what is 一 鸡 只 长 ???? Oh it means you having a skill. Oh... you mean 一基之长?

    Oh man..Will you faint like how Queen Sheba fainted? haha...

    Derrick one day came to me and told me he used to make effort learning very very chimp 成语 and he will write it all down in a paper. To my horror... this is what he wrote. Some of which you are about to read, you will not be able understand unless the holy spirit gives you the gift of discernment... Some are not even 成语 ... i don't know what is that. But it did gave me a good laugh. Here you goes........

    家 yu who 小 = 家喻户晓
    横体jie头 = 横尸街头

    helping him to correct some wrong words

    xu金一场 = 嘘惊一场
    chen 和 “T" 同 = 成和体统

    只夜不分贵见 = 职业不分贵贱

    lolx.... very good try Derrick!!! Next time, let me be responsible to teach our kids chinese alright. 家游 (jiayou) ok????

    A day to Kukup - Fishing Kelong

    It's my first time traveling with dad to Malaysia. Seriously... it's his first trip after 20 years or more. Poor daddy. Nah... in fact, he disliked traveling. He hates shopping. The only reason he came with us was because we were going to Kukup to experience kampong fishing life. I had really one of the best time with them.

    Derrick as usual become the photographer for the day. Nice photo taken dear.

    Enjoyed my Sunday Kukup trip thoroughly despite of the unbearable weather.

    Our first stop- Fruit Plantation. Also "feed the mosquitoes" session. Fruits that we commonly eat in Singapore yet had never seen their tree before. My very excited dad kept asking his son in law to snap pictures

    Jackfruit aka "mang ka" - It's so sweet

    Soursop aka angmoh liu lian

    Dragon Fruit. Did you know it's the only cactus plant that bear fruit.

    His name is Peter. Not so important. Just let you know only. He owns the whole plantation.

    Net breaking boat sinking??

    I have fished all day and caught no fish?!!

    We dun support Italy. We just like the colour

    This unagi is just swimming underneath their house. What will you do if it crawls up to your toilet bowl one day? Possible?!! I think so leh

    DIY Cake

    Knock off from work and had pizza with Derrick. Walked pass this cake shop where you can diy and design our own cake. Looks quite fun. So we decided to buy the smallest one and try it ourselves. If it's nice... I will do one for Derrick's birthday. It's quite hilarious cos we had no idea how we should decor it, hence, we just do it the Gothic style. Take a look at the mess we create.

    United we Stand.

    It's going through tough times like this we differentiate true friends from acquaintance. I bet you will agree with me that confidence and trust are not build overnight... it has to be build over the years and with a consistent good track record. Hence, we have more than enough reasons to believe and trust in our church and its senior leadership. I definitely disagree when others label us as "blind loyalty". To me, church is like a family. Probably I am quite simple minded. Align CenterYou just don't bite the hand who feeds you for the last 12 years.

    I think it's too early to pass judgment. Some passed comments mindlessly with an idea of being open minds. What can I say??? You have your freedom of speech. I simply cannot comprehend how some people can turn their face against church when they themselves were once helped by the church when they are all helpless. Regardless what, I hold on a positive confession that the check will once and for all shuts the mouth of all the critics. Soon we will not only be ISO certify but CAD certify.

    The strongest swords are forged in the hottest fires. I truly believe that what was meant for evil, He will turn it around for our good. I like what someone posted in facebook. When the shepherd is struck, the sheep scattered but in our CHC case, when our shepherd is struck, the sheep gathers even more. Let's stay united all the City Harvesters.
