    Bank account misused!!

    It was only 2 days ago I realized that $850 had gone missing from my bank account . At first I thought I had spent on something for my wedding which I did not record it down but after checking through, I couldn't find any purchase that matches this amount. Feeling panicky, I decided to quickly call POSB up and after talking to one of their staff, they told me that I have make an online purchase of USD $540++ with FRS which came up to S$850...... I am super shocked to hear that as I am so sure I have never made such purchase before. Feeling lost and angry plus couldn't really communicate with the lady who spoke in a strong Phillipino accent, I frustratedly requested her to transfer me to someone who speak Mandarin. At least, I understand broken chinese. The transfer took a super long time but finally someone pick up the call. I asked him if I can canceled the transaction, they say No. Fine!!! He told me that they cannot do anything about it until the merchandiser bill the amount from my ledger account. Only then, I will be able to file a report to the fraud department for further investigation. To make me feel better, he told me that there might be possibilities that the merchant might have billed the wrong account and if they did not collect the money from the bank after 10 days, they will automatically bank in the money to my account. Hopefully it's not a fraudulent case.

    I'm quite worried and angry over the whole matter. But I just keep praying that God will help me turn the whole situation around and continue to protect our finances.

    God is my help in times of need!!
