My Cinderella Heel
Finally gotten my wedding crystal heels... wow..
bling bling!! and "

ching ($)" as well.... I like it very much because I am also quite a
bling bling person. It's "ching ching" because this heel cost me $130.... come to think about it... nobody will even notice my bling bling elegance heels when I wear my wedding gown but I convince myself to get it as i thought maybe the photgrapher can take a picture of me putting on the heels and someone might notice my bling bling heels. haha.. I know I am a little silly to think that.. Anyway.. i love it !!
I think the sale assistant should count herself really super duper "lucky" to meet 2 ready buyer like Karen and me! Woah!!! Her service is very ..................... B-A-D bad! She makes me feel that the economy has been really bad at City plaza and she Die Die want to close us... Super hard sell .... haha... anyway I call this my cinderella heels and Prince Derrick will need to come with his pumpkin turned white horse, in another words Suzuki turned Mercedes to come and marry me on 18 Jul.. I am excited...

26 Mar 09.... after work, I mean after Ruxin finish work, I drove and pick her up in office around 630pm.... We went to nearby Tiong Bahru to source for "Yummy Food". We came across "Boon Tiong Kee Chicken Rice". Look very nice, serve like restaurant style, got wet tissue, pickles, tealight on the table.... but we sat outside! Full house!
Yup... the rice is like in pyramid shape.... very unique..... so is the price! $28+ for 2 person chicken rice! Eh...... But indeed in very nice la..... "A cent for a cent worth"

Well... i have been hunting for the most sought-after hair gel, Made in Japan ..... not gastby, not Loreal, but SYOSS!!!!!
This hair-gel has stop selling in Singapore for like a 1 year plus? I look high and low to find it... even fly to Osaka, Tokyo to find but with no avail.... hehe. Ruxin actually found this during a window shopping @ Far East Plaza...... it cost SGD50 for 170g..... Eh very expensive.... but like i say 一分钱一分货.... After you use this hair gel (or some call it wax or clay whatever), you will feel you have been short-change by Good Look, Gastby, Loreal.... For that period, that i "live" without Syoss, i use
not too bad (Jill Lowe recommend this also)..... smell very very nice.... this one cheaper lor. At Chinatown sell @ $15. Hair Salon @ $29...... But you must also have a nice haircut so that you won't short-change the prodct.... You can go to
to have a satisfying Haircut..... I gave credit to my Hairstylist, Helen for the recommendation for the hair product. You can go there if you are very free........ Yuan Ching Rd, Superbowl there (Beside Old Tang Dynasty)..... Go only if you are veryyyyyy free. Cause waiting time is long, traveling time is long (got to take BMW there.... Bus-Mrt-Walk)

Horror Movies !! :)
Chilled out together with Eileen, Jul and Steph recently. Was really an interesting night because all of a sudden, there was a rash in us to catch a horror movie together.. Jul and I literally can imagines 4 of us screaming like mad in the theater... Eileen who insisted not to watch even compromise by our persistent persuasion.. lol... Wanted to watch the Thai movie "Coming Soon" but too bad.. out of the 3 cinemas we went, there were no avaliable time slot... haiz!!
Nevertheless Jul was quite determine to watch it... so we decided to rent a room at cineleisure and rent a horror movie dvd to watch it.... We watched "Vacancy"...
So, 4 of us in a small room with good sound system... and true enough... we screammmmm.... like ahhhhhhhh... eeeeeee...... ohhhhhhhh.. ahhhhhhh... eeeee. Especially their sound effects... it makes you really nervous that the murderer will just suddenly pops out... lol
In fact, I don't really watch horror movies... scared basically!!! especially going home alone..taking the lift and bathing in the toilet!! lol... But still, was a special night together.. thanks ladies!!

What an eventful weekend!! :)
Wow.. I had a fruitful weekend this week!
Saturday - Romance and Relationship Conference @ Fort Canning
I really enjoyed the session with Pastor Kong... though I felt that the conference caters more for singles who yearns or preparing to get attached. Nevertheless, I have learned many valuable tips and principles for courting couple.... Pastor Kong is really cool!! Especially during the Q&A session... he could just answer any question anybody asked even some question sounded quite silly to me. He really has the wisdom of God and creativity to answer back.. for example
A Uni Student ask "Pastor, you mentioned that we should try to get married within 2 years after dating, but I am still studying now... and I have dated my girlfriend for more than 2 years... what should I do?"
Pastor Kong answered "Please give me a break (smiley) !! You are like saying bible say that I can only be save if I confess my sins with your mouth that Jesus is my Savior... but pastor... my friend cannot get save, why?? because he is mute!!"
Got it?? lol... what a great way to answer a silly question!
Sunday- Run 3 appointments / Service / Zone Bowling / Glenn Eagles Hospital
Woke up at 8am to prepare for my appointments... Run 3 appointment altogether.. 2 before service and 1 after service.... Thank God I close them!!
Service was awesome... Drama was hilarious...
Head down to Chervon Bowling alley for bowling competition between the Godzilla(Cgl) vs Kingkong (cgm) ... really had fun especially Javier is in our team.. He had so much fun. Anyway, I did not played well!! haha.. pull down their overall points... but I don't why... We still won the game.. Muahahaha... Well done derrick and zhihong for their planning and coordination as well.
After bowling, we were so excited to rush down to Glenn Eagles hospital because our good friend, Serena finally gave birth to Baby Jordan!! Really feel so happy for them. It's like you finally see the "fruit" of your labour... Finally you see how he looks like and the joy is indescribable. Looking at them, it stirs my desire to MAYBE thinking of having babies earlier after our marriage..... OK... KIV KIV!! Anyway.. congrats Kenneth and Serena!

Things I Don't like to hear!! :(

Boooo.. if you say that to me. My sec schoolmates bumped onto me today says that to me.. I almost wanted to tell Him.... "Oh Well.... You still look as short. Shortie" ...
I am working hard to look great on my BIG DAY... So those words can really demoralise me!! :)
So to compensate those negative word...I am speaking to myself now "Ruxin... you are still gorgeous!" heh heh.
Tomorrow we are going for the Romance and Relationship conference held at Fort Canning... I wondered who will be going as well?.. trust that it's gonna be an awesome and romantic conference by Pastor Kong. So wait for my updates on this conference...

Ladies Nights Out ...
Karen, Audrey and me went to this restaurant, Haven's Grill to check out some nice man, i mean food. Food is yummy, it's affordable and a chef who cooks with a great heart :) ! So nice of him who entertained us as we were eating. It's definitely a place I recommend you to go. Address: 191 Joo Chiat Road....
Went to KTV after the meal together with some of our gay, i mean guy friends (Daniel Chia / Daniel Ang / Keeliang / Jian feng / Derrick)... Had a great time of laughing over some impersonation of Pastor Ulf, Pastor Joshua hong, Pastor Benny Hinn, Pastor Alex Abraham, Pastor Kong, Yan Can Cook, Li Nan xing, and Karen yeo can act well as a Phillipino maid.. First time Karen could make me laugh so hard...Muahahaha... couldn't stop laughing!!!
I don't know what to blog... cos they have blog so much about the happenings on that day.. Anyway, shall we go shopping together next time... Goodness.. I need to buy some Bra.... nd chicken of essence.

Love Letters
Derrick's mum is coming to my humble house for some wedding discussion tomorrow. So I have just finished washing the toilet and tidying up my room. As I was tidying up, I happened to come across some cards and letters that I used to keep and guess what!!! I found a love letter written by one my classmates 10 years ago.. WOW!!! FYI, it was not written by Derrick but someone else :)!! haha.. Oh.. anyway, derrick was JUST one of my many suitors!! *** "hao-lian"*** lol... Thank God he did not put down his name!!! But to make some juicy blog news... I took a photo of the card he wrote but I hope he never ever read my blog!!!

Random Random
Oh!! Just one or two night here??
Hmmm... Suddenly I feel like going for our honeymoon earlier !!! Suddenly feels like going for a Spa or Massage at the Banyan Tree Resort... Feel like going for a shopping spree at Bangkok now... OMG... what am I thinking?? been sneezing and sneezing... Been feeling a little exhausted physically because of work...
Oh.. talking about nightmares (after reading Karen yeo's blog on her pre-wedding blues)... I do not have any pre-wedding nightmares but there are days where I have other type of weird dreams... hahaha... dreams like i fell down and broke my 2 front teeth (you can imagine how ugly that will be), dreams that my hair keeps falling and I become bald (lol), the most recent dream was I even loss my eye brow and needed to go for plastic surgery... (oh man, i think I must have watch too much of "Yi Qie Wan Mei")... I hate these dreams..
I wanna dream that I am now at Korea eating Kim Chi... I wanna dream that I am in New Zealand chase by the sheep!??... I wanna dream that I am living in a 5 room nicely renovated flat and I want to dream of ... heh heh... a great man says that dreams can only be accomplished with much activities... So let's put our hand to the plow else it's Just another dream!!

Quality Club Night (Unmasking the Elite)
I have just came back from our Prudential Awards Night held at Swissotel. This is actually an annual awards night to reward those who qualify for Quality Club for year 2008....Thank God that I made it there.
Gotta say that everybody look fabulous just now... but sad to say I dun like my hair do at all.... simply make my head look big! I dun like it !! and that stupid neighborhood salon simply piss me off.... I won't be there if it's not that I am running out of time. That hair dresser skill is bad bad bad and her attitude is bad bad bad bad bad! I'll never patronise them again. And arghhhh.. why of all hairstyle, do that leh?? This hairdo is similar to my NGO D&D...
Putting aside my complaint, we took alot of photos since everyone had dolled up beautifully. In my opinion,Evelyn look really gorgeous with her hair do and EC was so so lady like for the day! Last Year was really a breakthrough and miracle year for me. First I got the car, then derrick poposed, then Japan incentive trip and QC qualifier. It's nothing but by the grace of GOD... Anyway, of cuz, our hardwork pays off and we earn a meal from Prudential!! heehee... Awesome..Gonna work even harder and I wanna make it for Korea incentive trip next year!! Jiayou Derrick & Ruxin!!

Gown Selection @ French Bridal
Just came home from a day of gown selection with derrick, accompanying by my dear colleague Valerie. Was quite tired but was very fun.... Tried numerous of gowns and I feel satisfied that I've chosen something that look really gorgeous on me... Yipee... Wanna have a loooook??? hehe...
Not now! Let's wait till 18 Jul ok!!!
Thereafter, we headed to Vivo City to catch a movie- Slumdogs Millionaire...Verrry Nice show (read with a Indian accent )!!!

So with regard of his post, " how I wish there will be a Yueniang to cook a sumptuous meal for me everyday!"... I have some personal comment....
1) Yueniang is dead !
2) Even she's still alive, she can jolly well be your great grandmother. (Ugly)

Oooh ...Ungrateful you!!! please show some "affection" (woman No 1 Need!) !!!!!! and stop your Yueniang Yueniang Yueniang...
lol....Derrick always have this "problem"... Once he is very into a show, he will always.. I mean ALWAYS keep repeating those actors famous lines..... EVEN tough the show had ended for months! He can even reenact the scene with me.... ***faint****.... It happen in so many shows and movies lor.... ***Tabuleh Tahan*** hahahaha

I have a chance to pen my thoughts.... because Ruxin have no time to talk to me..... I have finally ended my 18days of National Liability known as "Reservist". I'm in KINS unit, its role is to safeguard the key installations in Singapore including the Blood bank, Satellite communication, oil refinery....etc. Its motto is "Deter and Repel".... Well this 18days in the longest days in my life beside 2008 where my UNIT are tasked to hunt for "Magician" Mas Selemat.... which he had master from David Copperfield where he walk through Great Wall of China.... Mas Selamat did something similar, he walk through the heavily guarded Whitley Detention Barrack.
On one of the training session, it was drizzling and a double rainbow was paint across the blue sky... A magnificent sight (the 2nd rainbow is quite fade on photo)
The most agnoy issue in the camp is the meals!! It was disappointing after a long day of training, looking forward to something filling and was it was a box full of rice and vegetables that are yellow.... Luckly cup noodle was invented..... So after a 18days of been deprived from good food, Ruxin and I visited a Nyona Restaurant along Novena....
Like what we saw in "Litttle Nyona" show, we ordered the "Babi Ponteh", "Seafood Assam" and "kang kong"..........
But it don't taste like it was cook by Yueniang.... It taste more like it was cook by Zhenzhu.... Eh hopefully what the show portray is true.... After watching Little Nyona, how I wish there will be a Yueniang to cook a sumptuous meal for me everday!

Was having fellowship with the TTFA (Tai Tai Fellowship Association) in church yesterday and gain some experience from those who got married and understand how to handle some situation that arises in the midst of our planning... Hehe... I am enlightened...
I have been sourcing out songs for my wedding march in... I have also compiled a list of romantic love song but still in the midst of selection. If you are good with that, feel free to tag me your recommended song... tks in advance!
