Valentines Day

I spent a great day with him. We have celebrated many years of valentines' day and this will be my last valentines day with the Single status.... there after I will be called "MRS".... or "MDM"... OMG!!

I should says that it's a simple celebration but it doesn't matter to us at all cos it's the companionship that matters.... As SPF have stolen him away for 1 whole week, we hardly could plan anything substantial, also with the wedding coming along, I think it's only wise not to splurge too much on this day. Hence, this valentines day is down right SIMPLE...

I cooked a simple meal for him!! Can you say WOWWWWWWW!!!
Alright, it's not so simple actually !!! It's teochew style of cooking and I learnt it from my mummy who is a teochew food expert... It was quite funny because my mum thought that my future mother in law wanted to test my cooking skill when I told her that I am gonna cook a meal for Derrick.... So she got so anxious telling me exactly how to cook the meal, how long should I steam the fish, what's the ingredient for herbal... she not only provided me with all the ingredients for what I plan to cook. She even call me while I'm halfway cooking to find out if everything's fine! Got so serious meh? Isn't she funny??? So I'm determine not to "Xia Sway" her name... I tell myself that I am "Wang tai can cook"!!! lol...

Oh man... I'm proud of myself men!!! Applause*** Derrick was surprise that I can do drunken prawn... He thought that only restaurant can cook this... lol..It tasted not bad actually... but still far from my mum's standard.... I'm gonna do a greater job next time.

After lunch, we went for a date in town.... had dinner at Dan Ryans, an American restaurant. Ate their roast chicken , pork rib and soft shell crab which were serve in American portion. Though it's delicious, it's too much for me who is very serious about dieting this season.... I haven been eating rice for 1 week already... I'm not gonna let my effort gone to waste!! Can bring me to fine dining next time??you know right... those which the smaller the serving, the more high class it is??

We ended our day watching "The curious case of Benjamin Button".... I enjoy this movie very much esp when the lead actor Brad Pitt is super handsome lor... I love the script and plot.... I'm so move by the love Benjamin had for Daisy. Especially the part when both their age met at the cross junction. Some funny scenes was when frail Benjamin went for a healing crusade and the evangelist who tries to cast out demon kenna a stroke himself and an elderly describe how he was struck by lightning 7 times.. I give 4 stars for this movie!!

Well... looking back, our love life has been so interesting . We are high school sweet heart and I'm his first love!!! We both believe in "Love at first sight" cos this is how it all happen during our Sec 1 camp. Till now, I am surprise that we can still talk through late night calls like those young teenager and our argument never lasted for 24 hours. I am happy to be spending my whole life with his ~~funny guy~~ loving man. I felt very much honor and bless to grow up with him. Thanks for always giving in to me and showing your love in every way you can..
