ASIA CONFERENCE 2008 TOUCHING ASIA, TRANSFORMING THE WORLD

I have just finished an awesome Asia Conference last week

With our extraordinary lineup of world-renowned speakers and top worship leaders from around the world

This 5 days had been a very powerful session for everyone of us. Here are some photos

Opening Lunch

This scene is like feeding the 5000. Wow... 500 tables banquet for all the delegates, with our senior Pastor gracing the opening. I am proud of City Harvest.... It's never been done! No registration fee and every meal is provided for as Pastor decided to bless every delegates. All the offering of Asia Conference goes to help the poor and needy.

New Life Church is one of the fastest growing church in Taiwan, Taipei. One of the keys to their growth is through "Adoption of soul".... Every member will adopt a few people and they will be committed to pray and meet their needs. One of their uniqueness of this church is their out reached to 100 overs celebrities and many of them are on fire christian now, serving God in the entertainment industry. Taiwan is truely experiencing a rivival now. In the past 5 years, Christian population has grown from 3% to 4%.

Wow... look at the queue!!!! Let me tell you... You need really ultar patience and skill to enter to the main hall.... People queue up as long as 3-4 hours. I have never been to a church that members are so willing to stay a queue for hours.

Personal Reflection
I must says that I am really proud to be part of City Harvest members. A church who starts out with a humble beginning of 20 members in 1989 has grown to 24000 in 19 years. Everything in the Asia Conference just blow my mind. I am really impressed by the large scale but more than that, how excellence in the way the whole conference is carried out. It so well planned and prepared, every program is done with a spirit of excellence. How they managed to accommodate almost 25000 people every single session. It's really not easy to control the massive crowd.

Personally, I really feel impacted by Last night Dr AR Bernard message... How Jesus reached out to people in the world like Zaacheus. It about influencing a person which would in turns transformed the place.....
