    My wedding date is ...........

    18th July 2009

Yeah... It's confirm confirm comfirmed!!! Not the most auspicious date but definitely we determine the day and not the day determine us!! AMEN!! I am so happy that we have finalise our wedding banquet.... It at PEARL RIVER PALACE!!!

We went earlier to the place to have a talk with the resturant manager- Rita

In the midst of discussion with Rita

This is my youngest niece- Charisse....

Talking about meet the parent session, I should say that it's not that bad!! I am quite nervous initially as I'm worried if they can engage well in conversation. But I think it not bad after all. My worries is unnecessary. haha... only difference is that my family are trained to eat very fast.. esp my commandos bro. He finishes his every meal within 15 mins. Whereas derrick's family are typical cantonese family who take their time to "keng gai" (chatting). As you can see in the photo... Derrick mum look much more fashionable and my parents are rather a down-to-earth loving couple. Overall, both of them like the venue and food... hehe

you pay $40 to fortune teller to get ONE auspicious date... Don't ask for too many!!

Derrick and I have been going around to source for venues for matrimony... so tiring!! Some of the venues are so beautiful. But budget is taken into consideration. We went to 3 places... here's some photo of it...

Venue #1 - Singapore Art Museum (Auditorium)

    Venue #2: Saint Andrew Cathedral
"Oh God... forgive my iniquities and my transgression."

Actually we never really consider this place la. We just wanted to take a look at their church. Their new sanctuary located at the basement are really nice. Comparing to the old one which is under renovation carries rather a heavy atmosphere. Nevertheless, the structure of the building is very captivating, sad to say...it just too solemn.... too holy...too majestic for us....

    Venue #3: Asian Civilization Museum
haha... nice place... but too expensive. Out of the picture!

haha.. it's very fun to record down the whole progress of the planning. We are grateful to God for all that done for us. Sometime feels tired but really enjoyed every moment of the planning!!
